TEHRAN AFRA has been operating since June 1999 as an EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) contractor to international companies in the South Pars Gas Field Development Projects and Khuzestan Oil Filed Development Projects and has since mobilized a work force in excess of 2,000 personnel.

TEHRAN AFRA to date have constructed, manufactured, delivered and installed more than 600,000-sqm of full-turnkey camps for Expatriates including French, Italian, British, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and other third country nationals (TCN) as well as Iranian nationals, comprising of accommodation units, kitchen, dining hall, stores, laundry, recreation facilities with swimming pool and sports facilities and office blocks. In addition TEHRAN AFRA has been contracted to erect 40,000-sqm of warehouse space in various configurations. TEHRAN AFRA uses various materials for its building works, ranging from prefabricated modular sandwich panel systems with life spans from 3 to 20 years to permanent structures made of block/brick-work or reinforced concrete.

Further works included the construction of permanent structures in the gas plant areas including reinforced concrete foundations, flood drainage systems and architecture buildings.

In carrying out the above-mentioned works TEHRAN AFRA mobilized to a savannah site providing its own fully functioning construction camp. TEHRAN AFRA construction camps include the provision of fire rated, thermally insulated and air-conditioned accommodation buildings, kitchen and dining facilities, ablution facilities, power generation, waste water containment facilities, water purification facilities, water heating facilities and medical clinic.

As a result of Tehran Afra’s performance in the filed, the company has been awarded the prestigious “Contractor of the Year Award” on several occasions.
