TEHRAN AFRA Residential Waste Incineration Capability
Waste incineration is a key factor in camp management as this defines TEHRAN AFRA’s commitment to maintaining its’ high environmental standards which aims to minimize emissions to air, water and land. TEHRAN AFRA is capable of designing, installing and commissioning waste incinerators that will suit the client’s requirements and able to meet local & international standards.
These standards will be, as a minimum, compliant with national and local Iranian legislation including all international laws and regulations to which Iran is a signatory.
TEHRAN AFRA defines the basis for the design and construction of a temporary incinerator which shall provide capability to incinerate all residential waste from turnkey camps and all other waste generated by canteens, packaging materials and small amount of mixed medical waste of the clinic. This packages ranges from incineration capacity of 100kg per hour to 500kg per hour, depending on the number of occupants and extent of waste generated for each facility. Industrial waste including plant area waste and construction material waste can also be considered depending on each client’s requirements. Waste emissions are confined to the following limits as a set minimum standard:
Particulate Matter ≤ 150 Mg/Nm³
Dinginess ≤ 30%
SO2 ≤ 170 Mg/Nm³
HCI ≤ 150 Mg/Nm³
NO2 ≤ 360 Mg/Nm³
NH3 ≤ 4.80 Mg/Nm³
F2 ≤ 18 Mg/Nm³
Heavy Metals ≤ 0.80 Mg/Nm³
Dioxins ≤ 0.18 ng/m³
Furan ≤ 0.18 ng/m³
Whenever possible, and with Client’s agreement, the process and associated facilities will be designed to improve upon this minimum environmental requirement.
